The Polished Wick Candle Company™ has been moving since the beginning. We have dreamed, created, worked, adjusted, learned, celebrated, and sometimes had to keep going when things did not unfold the way we expected.

Entrepreneurship has taught us that not every setback is the end of the story.

Sometimes what feels like a disappointment in one moment becomes the very thing that prepares you for the blessing waiting in the next.

That is why we continue to believe that every setback and every disappointment can become one of your greatest blessings if you refuse to stop believing in what is possible.

If You Can See It…

I am a HUGE Michael Jackson fan, and while watching Michael, the biopic featuring his incredibly talented nephew, Jaafar Jackson, one statement stayed with me:

“If you can see it, then it will happen.”

What a powerful thought.

Before something becomes tangible, someone usually has to see it first.

You have to see the business before everyone knows its name.

You have to see the customers before the orders arrive.

You have to see the doors opening before anyone invites you into the room.

You have to see yourself standing in places that your current circumstances may tell you are impossible.

That is the power of vision.

But for me, vision has always been connected to something even greater: faith.

God Remains Our Source

As I write this, my heart is filled with gratitude.

I believe God has been with us through every part of this journey—not only in the exciting moments, but also through the difficult ones.

Through the unanswered questions.

Through the disappointments.

Through the moments when things did not happen the way we thought they would.

And through the moments when doors suddenly began opening faster than we could have imagined.

God remains my source through it all.

That is what makes this moment so meaningful. It is bigger than seeing our name in an article or watching our products receive exposure. It is about recognizing that something we once carried only as a vision is becoming increasingly real before our eyes.

And we are grateful.

Grateful for every customer who has purchased a candle.

Grateful for every person who has shared a post.

Grateful for every opportunity.

Grateful for every lesson.

Grateful for every setback that made us stronger.

And grateful for every door that is opening now.
