On this side of launch day, I’m taking a moment to breathe, reflect, and celebrate everything that led up to this incredible milestone. The journey to launching The Polished Wick Candle Co. and the debut of my book Lit From Within was filled with intentionality, prayer, creative fire, and unwavering faith. Here's a look at the glow-up behind the glow:

🌟 THE VISION WAS BORN
It all started with my lifelong love for candles and flowers. I knew I wanted to create something meaningful that could combine beauty, stillness, and self-care in one experience. From the very beginning, I envisioned candles that weren’t just products—they were moments of peace, reminders of purpose, and sacred tools of inner healing.

💡 THE BRAND WAS NAMED
I chose the name The Polished Wick because it reflects refinement, clarity, and intention. Just like us, each wick needs trimming, care, and fire to shine. The name embodies the heart of the business: inner glow through intentional living.

💭 SCENTS WERE CRAFTED
Every candle blend was tested and perfected with love. From romantic florals like Blush Bloom to the calming essence of Velvet Glow, each scent was curated to evoke emotion, stillness, and soul care. I leaned into my passion for floral fragrance to create something that felt both timeless and intimate.

🌈 DESIGN MET PURPOSE
I hand-selected a black and gold aesthetic to reflect luxury and elegance while keeping the packaging modern and minimalist. Countless hours went into designing the labels, choosing vessels, and creating a visual identity that would speak to both strength and serenity.

📖 THE BOOK WAS WRITTEN
Lit From Within: A Self-Care Journey Through Scent and Stillness was born out of my personal need for peace and restoration. I poured my heart into every page so it could serve as a guide for others to reclaim their inner glow through scent, reflection, and faith.

🙏 COMMUNITY WAS BUILT
We celebrated every milestone, from 100 to 400 followers on Instagram and Facebook. I shared the process every step of the way, and the encouragement and support from this growing community gave me strength. Each like, comment, and message reminded me that I wasn’t alone in this journey.

🚀 PRE-LAUNCH MOMENTS
There were late nights, last-minute edits, nervous prayers, and joyful tears. From creating digital visuals and packaging products to testing scents and scheduling posts, every detail mattered. Pre-orders opened on July 12th at 8PM, for my book and the support poured in.

✨ LAUNCH DAY ARRIVED
On July 12th, 2025, The Polished Wick Candle Co. officially launched. The website went live, the candles were ready to ship, and Lit From Within official launch day is August 1st, which will be placed into the hands of those who need an encouraging message.

💖 WHAT THIS JOURNEY MEANS TO ME
This wasn’t just about candles or a book—this was about creating something sacred, beautiful, and healing. It was about honoring the light within and giving others permission to do the same. I am beyond grateful for every moment that led up to this day.
